COS- the luxury version of H&M
: : the place where I spent most of my money while in Copenhagen, was definitely COS. It's the high-end clothing line of H&M. Everything was fabulous about COS. While being a higher end line, prices were still reasonable. All the clothes had interesting, unique cuts and often mixed different textures and materials. I fell for all the pops of bright colors and neon, combined with light greys and soft pastels. So far there are only a few stores in all of Europe, by they ship anywhere within Europe from their online store. I plan on making COS a regular stop on my itinerary every time I go home.
Soft and Sweet
Hello Everyone!
I hope you had a good weekend. We had heavy rain most of the weekend but it was nice and warm at least. I went to an auction sale on Saturday where there was lots of interesting pieces that went pretty cheap.I got a little table and a vintage galvanized cooler for $5 and a mirror for $7 so I was happy with that.I wish I had taken my camera to show you some of the unusual pieces like a buttercup yellow vintage stove.
Since I didn't take any photos this weekend I am sharing some mosaics that I like from my vast collection!
Hope you all like dishes as much as I do!

I love this teacup.

Shabby Guest Bath
We have a small bathroom up in the finished attic that is perfect for our guests.
Here is how I made it look like a part of our home.
I only purchased the shower curtain from Target for $20 and a small rug for $14.
The sheers on either side of the shower add a little flowing elegance.
They are hung with garden hooks.
The one by the toilette is tied back with another garden hook.
There isn't a lot of room for a towel bar in this small space. I hung a hook with a decorative frame around it on the small wall near the shower.
More towels are rolled up here in a basket.
I collected some painted white frames for a wall collage.
An IKEA bucket hangs from an old screen door handle and twine then filled with bath necessities.
On the counter are Q-tips in a shot glass wrapped in twine.
The attic is also our playroom so the boys use this space a lot. I added a little personal touch for them too.
Some photos in white tin tile frames.
A wreath on the door is a trick I love to do to add charm.
A little white metal star sits upon the mirror frame under the light fixture.
There is a little guy staying with us so the foot stool is stored next to the sink especially for him.
Welcome Guests!

Autumn Rose
Happy Weekend!
I almost missed this little autumn rose blooming in the garden. I don't know the name of it but it was just one of those little pots of roses that you buy in the grocery store in the winter to enjoy indoors.Did you know you can plant them out in the garden and often split them in two or three piecs and they will bloom all summer and winter over in the garden.
Anyway,I thought I should get some photos of it as I am will soon be missing going out to the garden and picking a bouquet for indoors. Soon, but not quiet yet!
Love these old looking baby boots.
When I was done of my photo shoot the little rose went to it's final home in the vase on my kitchen window sill to be enjoyed.
This hammock came home with me from the 70 mile yard sale last Saturday. It was $4 and still had it new tags on it. I knew I had just the spot for it in between these two old trees by the woods and near the pond.
Enjoy your weekend!
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn
Our Early Autumn Garden
Hello everyone,
Our Autumn days have been lovely here and the heavy rain we had a couple of days has given the garden a pick me up. It is so nice to have the grass so lush and green again..
Our water fountain.
The annebelle hydrangeas are still giving me pleasure with their beautiful big blooms.
The birdhouse on a shelf on the north veranda.
The sedum Autumn Joy and Annebelle with a burning bush make a nice Autumn combination.
Autumn Joy sedum is so easy to grow and looks good all season long. The bees also are loving it.
Martha's Garden is taking on a fall look as the virginia creeper is just starting to turn red..
Have a seat for awhile and watch the birds.
A double red hollyhock that I started from seed this year is blooming now.
The phlox has all pretty much faded now except for the varigated phlox.
An early morning shot with the dew on the mirror behind Martha(statue).
Our sweet angel is still keeping watch.
As are these.
Our old boat by the pond.
Now that I have shown you the garden I better get out and take a stroll through it on this lovely sunny day.
I am joining Show and Tell at My Romantic Home today and also at The Rose Garden in Malevik
Thank you for joining me today.
Have a lovely weekend!
Carolyn
