Sit & Relax in this Space

This is the living room.

The only purchases I made for this room were plants for my pots.
 

The valances were already here. I raised the rod, used clips for the valance and added some white sheers.

I don't have a double rod. The sheers are thin enough that they clip on the back side of the valance.

The sun shines in this space early in the morning. That makes a perfect spot for magazines and coffee.

I brought boxes and boxes of old magazines with me from CT.

It appears that is what I collect.

This pot was left on the back deck - it was already perfectly worn.

A perfect space to wind down and relax in the evenings, too.

The paint color here is Northampton Putty by Ben Moore.

(pretty much - I mixed another two colors to make more of left over paints in the garage)

This house is a leased home. If it were my own I would put some nice board and batten wainscoting on those walls.
