our wedding anniversary date is painted on burlap and pinned to a body pillow.
I painted the date with fabric paint and used safety pins to attach it to the pillowcase.
The headboard is our old basement door from our previous house.
I added a shelf above with a bracket set I found on clearance at Target for $4.98.
Two 1x4 slats of pine are the shelf platform.
Wall color: Northampton Putty by Benjamin Moore
A burlap knot cloth over my night stand makes it so I can dust a little less often.
I topped it with a favorite picture of our little twin boys.
The large window is flanked with old french doors - a tag sale find.
The draperies were here when we moved in -
I just added floor length panels on each end.
