A Garden Tour

The garden is full of blooms now so I thought you might like to take a tour with me.

I have several Annebelle hydrangea in the garden. I love how easy care they are as well as beautiful and long lasting.

Jackmani clematis with Mary Rose.

I love this yellow rose but I don't know the name of it. If I had more time I could maybe find a record of it.

We have so many daylilies in bloom now-I will share some photos of them later.

It is a just a quick tour today as we are taking our grandaughter Jessie out for a fun day-you will probably see more of that too as you probably know I don't go far without my camera!

Have a good day!

Carolyn

Garden Tea

Today I thought we could have afternoon tea in this corner of our garden. It has lots of pretty flowers bursting into bloom so it is a cozy corner to sit for a spell.

I hope you like peach cream crumble pie-it is one of my favorites.

I collect red and white transferware dishes-so I have quite a few dishes in different patterns so I mix and match.

Today I am joining in on Tablescape Thursday over at Between Naps on the Porch. This is always a great event so a big thank you to Susan for hosting and enjoy checking out the other participants.

I hope you enjoy your tea in the garden and thank you for visiting me,

Take care,

Carolyn

A Spot of Tea!

It is a beautiful day to be in the garden today so I hope you can join me for a spot of tea and some strawberry shortcake.

I hope you can sit for a bit and enjoy all the beauty of the garden because this is probably the most colorful time in our garden. Later ,we can take a tour around the garden.

Hope you enjoy this beautiful day!

Carolyn

Odd Spaces

We all have those odd ball spaces in our homes. Those spaces your not quite sure what to do with. Rethink them! Make them useful or decortive. You can put a shelf or a small chest there. Know your space and what you need !

monkey luv

: : this is our new friend, the monkey guy, in fact we have two. my grandmother passed away last summer, and she and my grandfather had so much style. they had all the latest design furniture and products when they were young. these wooden monkeys have become something of a design icon for Denmark, designed by Kay Bojesen. My grandmother had 3, I inherited 2. I love how playful they are and they have so much character. I spotted them in the window in these lovely photos by .sasa antic. (via emmas).
any suggestions for names for our 2 new friends?
