An English Sunday Afternoon Tea

                                                     Welcome Friends,
It was a mild but very rainy afternoon here today so it was a perfect time to curl up with a book and a cup of tea.

I love this teapot with it's pretty little English cottage on it ~ I always think of England when I use it and the similar teacup.
I bought a copy of The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett to reread so it will be my entertainment for the afternoon. I enjoy watching the movie once in awhile too.
I am not sure who the bust is but he has an English look ,don't you think?

The markings on the bottom say Price Kensington Potteries England.

The tablecloth and curtains remind me of English chintz.

Well, we have a blizzard warning for tomorrow so I may be house bound and have some time to finish reading The Secret Garden although I do have a few projects I need to finish up ~we shall see!

A rainy February Sunday Afternoon Tea with a good book is good for the soul don't you think?  Now, where did I put those crumpets???

I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday.

Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn
