Last of the Pumpkins

Yesterday after the kids got off the school bus they decided 

it was time for pumpkin torture.

(stems and pumpkin pieces all over the front yard)

I saved the last of them and brought them safely inside...

Some are fake and some are real here.

They add some festive Thanksgiving color.

I switched furniture around in here.

I don't usually place my sofa diagonal but it feels good in this small space.

I just found that little bench at TJ Maxx for $50.

I am hosting Thanksgiving for a few people...I am excited.

So, it's a good thing there are a few last little pumpkins to help welcome our guests.
I am ready to say good-bye to fall decor all together, though.
I guess my kids are, too.

(I can't get a good picture for anything out of my point and shoot camera - grrr)
