I wanted a simple mantel this year....
This was easy, cheap and it's all recycled.
I rescued these lovely windows last week...
These are my recycled peanut butter jars.
At the top of the windows I placed a bronze iron picture topper.
(it's hard to see against the brown frame)
The wreath was a tag sale find. It's just a whole bunch of vines wrapped around in a thick circle.
I wanted to add a little holiday accent to the glass in the windows...
Using my cricut I printed out stars on sticky vinyl.
Placed them on alternating glass openings then sprayed them with Rustoleum Frosted Glass Spray.
I removed the sticky stars and .... I have decorative glass.
Behind the glass I placed a couple of electric window candles.
I embellished the ledge with natural tree clippings from my yard and a few old gold ornaments to add a bit of glitter.
A simple "recycled" holiday mantel.
