My Space - office, craft, play...

A formal dining room does not get much use in our homes....
unless I turn it into "my space".
Every mom needs a place to dump and create.
(a place that is versatile for hodge podge decor with many uses)
This room is used for anything from crafting to homework.

I even store my pots and pans here on my industrial style shelving.
Our neighborhood tag sale was last weekend. I bought this small desk for $3 and spray painted it flat black.
Twinkle lights are always a happy addition to a front porch, garden or my office -
any time of year.
I nailed some left over Vine Ribbon to the bottom of my windows to clip notes.
No sew garden burlap is hung for window panels.
A free pallet turned planter box decorates the space above my window.
Empty wine bottles reflect the afternoon light.
I keep bottles with cute or meaningful labels.
I like the brand Middle Sister - I am the middle sister in my own family.
My mug holder hangs from an iron plant stand and keeps my twine close at hand.
I am proud that I have been married for 19 fun years -
this Family Established sign sits above a mirror for a special display.
The dangling twinkle lights make it so I don't even have to turn on a lamp
or overhead light.
A "not so traditional space" can be anything for me since it is "My Space".
(really it is just a family "free" room for what ever we need it for)

In our last house I had a similar room -
